While taking a break on Facebook, I ran across a status update from LoseIt! announcing a 450 Calorie Lunch Week Challenge. I thought it’d be fun to post my lunches for this week and decided to join up.
Nothing fancy for today’s lunch as I was neck-deep in work, so I whipped up a toasted peanut butter and apricot pineapple jelly sandwich. I shared an apple with my daughter, slicing half of my portion thinly to layer in the sandwich and eating the other two pieces later.
Looking at this photo I took on my phone really makes me miss my camera. Should have it back any day now…
It was de-lish and as you can see, only 388 calories for my meal. Well under the limit. Challenge met!
