A quick stop at the local craft store can be disastrous for me. If I happen to walk by the scrapbook aisle, the pull of those fat little stacks is almost too much to resist. I like them because they make great little notecards to add to orders.
Others like Karen Jinks of Kala at Etsy, like them for their mixed media art usage. With a background of making art and cards for family and friends as a child, it’s no wonder she now has a bachelors in graphic design and illustration.
From the minimalist to the rich, Karen’s work can be seen in various formats. Collages and cards, books and journals, traditional to digital art are just a few. Working with paint, paper, camera and computer, Karen creates fantastic art to be treasured:
