This next seller really makes me pine for home. The brightness of the signs, the colors of the foliage, even the tree frog in her shop are all things that make me reminiscent of Puerto Rico. However, Joanne of CoconutPalmDesigns doesn’t live there, but in Belize! Even more…she’s a Canadian transplant. Pretty long ways away from home.
It appears, though, that moving to Belize has helped her develop her new skills in woodworking and sign design. With ample Belizean hard or soft woods available and plenty of inspiration from the scenery around her, she makes visually engaging welcome, inspirational and garden signs, mixed with ACEO art cards here and there.
