A Glimpse of Dragon*Con
It’s been over 2 years since we last went to Dragon*Con. Lots of great changes… quicker registration (even if we did wait the longest we ever have… standing outside… in the sun!) More vendors. Better art room flow. Bigger comics alley! (Loved that one.)
Sadly, I realized as I reviewed my photos, I’ll need a better lens for next time – a combination of my stock lens and my great 50mm. Something with zoom, but can handle low light situations. Suggestions anyone?
Here are a few of my favorite photos from the event. We ran across:
An officer and a T.A.R.D.I.S….
Marilyn lounging around…
Carmen Sandiego…
a young Amy Pond trying to remember The Silence…
yet another T.A.R.D.I.S. and Doctor Who…
a steampunk vehicle – this one was actually driving down the street…
Gambit…
and a LEGO man on his first visit to Dragon*Con ever!
(I was so excited for him and his family. They were ready to have fun and dressed up, fun was going to find them!)

Did you go to Dragon*Con, or do you have a favorite convention you like to go to?
