For those of you wondering what has happened to me in the past month, it’s just been a very busy time. With taxes, a trip to California, and a pending project where I’ve had to learn a new skill, keeping up with my day job has been all that I could do! However, I’m finally starting to get back into the rhythm of my normal life.
For starters, I want to invite you to participate in the Seek Indie contest!
It’s important to support handcrafted items, if not merely to obtain a unique and carefully crafted, made-to-last item, you are assured that some of the labor issues found in foreign manufacturing are not an issue for the jewelry you purchase (although it must be said that gemstones and other materials used in jewelry making are often imported).
However, if neither of those reasons encourages you to participate, know that you can win some great prizes and discover other Independent Designers in the process!
Get to know these 60+ independent designers, with products ranging from jewelry (me!) to crocheted bikinis to woodcut artwork and at the same time, have an opportunity to win excellent prizes that they have all graciously donated to the contest. What have you got to lose?
