Luck was with me a few weeks ago when I was able to find a round trip ticket to Orlando for $20. That’s right! Your eyes do not deceive you! $20!!!
Spirit Airlines has this $9 fare club that I joined a while back while searching for inexpensive tickets to Puerto Rico for my mom. As it turns out, they have sales ALL THE TIME and I was able to catch a $0.05 sale to Orlando. My husband didn’t even blink when he said to take it. So I’ll be working from Sunny O-Town this weekend until I travel back on Tuesday.
I’m really looking forward to seeing my mom again. It’s been much longer than I wanted. However, after all the time my husband and I had to take off for all of my dad’s arrangements, we’ve been working our collective butts off to get back on track. I’m happy to say that we’re doing just fine.
As you can imagine, getting ready for a trip always leaves one running around like a chicken with their head cut off. I’ve been blessed such that I’ve acquired the procrastination gene from my wonderful mother. Hehe! (I’m so glad that doesn’t seep into my business life, otherwise this jewelry venture and my 8 year old web development business would have never made it this far!) But for the most part, I was prepared ahead of time and am traveling lightly. There’s nothing better than not having checked luggage!

Have a great trip! Can’t believe the price of those tickets! We once flew Spirit Air from O’Hare to Orlando for $50 and thought that was good. $20 is awesome!
