Bye, Bye Diaper Bag…maybe…

Considering my camera was doused with apple juice and I now have to send it off to get cleaned, I’ve been thinking about buying a new carryall bag. (Yea. You can imagine how happy I am about that one.)

It’s not the first time I’ve considered buying a new bag. It really is major ’cause I’m really not that much of an “accessorizer” and do like to have “one bag to rule them all”. ;)

My original bag, while cute, is measuring short of what I need while providing ample stability for milk and juice filled sippy cups for the kiddo on the go.

I do love the Epiphanie style bags, but I’m just not ready to shell out that much money for a camera bag I need to double as a diaper bag.

So I’ve been on a search for a bag. While shopping with my mom, I thought I found a stylish, yet useful bag. I imagined adding homemade cushioning and compartments to the inside. And in red to match my new sandals! I was in love.

However, after stuffing the bag to the brim with diapers, wipes, sippy cups and the camera body, it’s a bit full. It also wouldn’t snap as intended. And since it was a handbag, it would be awkward on my shoulder stuffed to the brim.

I’m not sure if this is my go-to bag, but despite all the negatives I sure do like it a lot! So the search for a stylish camera bag continues…
