Missing My Camera, But Found It a New Home!

On July 23, 2012 by Yazmin

…Terribly. I had to send it off to get cleaned, because carrying it in the girl’s diaper bag with the supposedly spill-proof juice cups, got it soaked through with apple juice. I was not a happy camper.

And… since it costs almost $200 to get the camera cleaned and shipped back to me, I’ve been putting it off for almost a month. I really want to have my camera back for my birthday next week, but I don’t think that’s going to happen at all. It will be a happy surprise if it does.

The thing is, even if I had it cleaned sooner, I wouldn’t have a secure bag in which to carry it. I could put it back in my diaper bag and risk it getting soaked again or I could carry it in my new bag which has absolutely NO padding at all.

So it sat there on the banister staring at me for the past month.

But guess what? Since my birthday is coming up, the hubby got me a fantastic early birthday present… the Ginger bag from Epiphanie Bags!

When my husband made the suggestion, I spent three hours trying to narrow down my choice and was about to spend another two hours selecting a color when my husband said, “I’m making an executive decision! It’s my birthday present to you and I want you to get the bisque.” He knows me so well.

I’m so excited… can’t wait for it to arrive. Have you had any exciting surprises lately?
