Surprised I’m posting? Hah!
It’s been a while since I’ve done any kind of jewelry work, but recently, I needed a few pieces to wear to a wedding. With nothing readymade in my inventory calling me, I decided it was time to crack out my jeweler’s tools and create something fresh to wear.
As much as I tried to make a brand new matching set, it was 30 minutes before we were leaving for the wedding that I finally got a chance to work on the jewelry.
So I decided to work on creating something to match this pair of earrings:
Grabbing my beautifully cut crystal rondelles and a length of gold chain, I came up with the following necklace:
I love the length, love the simple sparkle, love the slight floral look. Needless to say, I’ll be keeping this necklace for myself… ans probably adding a version of it to my store when I come back online later this month. (Yep! You read right! I’ll be opening shop again soon!)
What have you made lately?
