Start of My Container Garden – Part I
Remember my goal for container gardening? I just mentioned the herbs I planted in my last post, but have yet to share what I decided to plant.
Back in April or late March, I picked up some Bonnie plants. I also picked up this cute pair of gardening gloves.
In two containers, I planted a tomato, cilantro, basil and leek plant. I didn’t read up on these plants, aside from knowing they would grow in my area. After I had put the tomato plant in my cart, a kind clerk suggested I buy a cage to go with the plant. After seeing it grow like a weed, I’m grateful for the suggestion!
I also got some organic potting soil – since I would be eating the fruits of my labor – and planted away!
Then a month later, I got cocky and added a parsley plant.
Although, I have no idea how I’m going to use all that parsley… ideas, anyone?
