She was kind enough to accompany me to a gem show earlier this year…even though she had no idea about anything dealing with gems and jewelry. I thought that was sweet of her.

While we were there, she asked me if I could make a necklace for her mom for Christmas. I, of course, was excited at the prospect and said “sure!”

Day 336.356 Because Betty Rubble's got nothing on this...

So here we are! I call it “The Betty Rubble”. Fitting, right? I love how it came out. Almost makes me want to make chunkier pieces of jewelry…but my love is dainty at heart. :)

Now the question becomes, what do I do with the remaining pieces of fire cherry quartz. They’re awfully big! Any suggestions?
